Off Again

I’m off again.
The dawn has broken
and surely it beckons
for another eventful day.

Morning eyes all around me
peer through silent air.
Quiet thoughts permeate beneath the skin
only to develop into reality.

Once the sun shows its full brilliance
through the view window
on my side of the journey –
on my return to you.
